Portable Temperature Control

Our portable systems are designed to work with a wide range of vehicles, allowing businesses to quickly adapt their fleet to meet temperature control requirements. Whether for short-term use or long-term deployment, the ability to install and remove units with ease provides maximum operational flexibility.

Units can be connected directly to the vehicle’s electrical system or supplied with their own internal battery, offering true portability. Palletised solutions are also available, making them ideal for multi-vehicle use or operations that require rapid deployment.

Many operators, particularly those using small to medium vans or electric vehicles, can significantly reduce capital expenditure by adopting portable systems. Units can be transferred between vehicles as needed, reducing the need for dedicated refrigerated vehicles while maintaining full compliance.

DBS Ltd provide low energy temperature controlled containers that have an internal refrigerant compressor and therefore do not have a limited period of time.

The benefits of these when compared to passive solutions such as eutectic plates, is that our equipment actively manages the internal ‘load space’ whilst the surrounding ambient fluctuates.

This feature allows for greater confidence that medicines and pharmaceuticals are protected from adverse temperatures, both low and high, which we increasingly experience in the UK.
